Have you ever considered how God sees you? So many people are still looking through the wrong pair of sunglasses! They are the sunglasses of who they used to be! When we came into the kingdom we were given a pair of new lenses however when putting them on it was blurry at first and some gave up and put the other ones back on! When this is done many fail to see what God sees and remain stuck in that place of not knowing who they are and how beautiful and loved they are! I know this because I was there in this place for many years. I was in the place of believing I was unloved, unattractive and I did not think I had any gifts. No matter where I looked the sunglasses I was wearing became less and less useful. It no longer blocked the sun and I became frustrated with who I was. I decided to take off these glasses however the sun was so bright I could not see anything! I was blinded for a while. During that time I went through a transformation. I then decided I would put on the glasses I was given when I entered the Kingdom. It was blurry at first because my eyes needed to adjust to a new way of seeing! Slowly my eyes adjusted and then suddenly I can SEE! I looked at myself and saw what Father God sees. I was in awe! I said " Papa you see beauty! You Love me! I am your beautiful creation! I was made for your Glory! I am your masterpiece!" Granted it was not an over night thing but a process. I had to learn to see what He sees. It took losing someone I loved to find who I really was and to know that my dependence is supposed to be wholly on Him and no one else on this earth! I had to face a possible truth that I was co depended on the wrong people and needed to learn to be co depended on Jesus. After all I co died with Him, I was co buried, co resurrected and now co heir and co seated with Him in the Heavenly places!
It is a beautiful thing when you suddenly realize you were made for a purpose on this earth when you finally see what He sees in you! He doesn't look at your flaws as a failure but as a chance to change it to something more beautiful. He is that Master Potter who can reshape the clay or that painter that can take what may look like a mistake and transform it into something totally different than we expected!
We are truly His masterpiece as it says in Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. and also in Isaiah 64:8 But now, O LORD, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand. We are truly the work of HIS hands and we need to keep those shades on that enables us to see what He sees! You are so beautiful, so beautiful to Him and to me!
